Tripple Consulting is a small team with various levels of experience, from Senior Consultants with over 30 years’ experience to graduates.
I am the owner and driving force behind the Company. I am a highly respected consultant in Banks and other Financial Institutions. The firm is not really profit driven, but rather a vehicle for job satisfaction for myself. This satisfaction comes partly from solving complex, multifaceted problems with clients; partly from generally improving Banking and partly from coaching and developing young people.
I am one of the longest serving employees at Tripple. The types of projects I tend to enjoy most are those that call on a range of skills; typically analytical, social, and communication. Most of my work has been in the feasibility, definition, design and testing stages of the Application Development Lifecycle within the Banking Sector. One of my favourite features of Tripple is the room we are given to explore and develop our abilities.
I have been working for Tripple since September 2011.Since joining I have mostly worked as a business analyst in varying projects within the banking sector , as well as a small London-based micro-finance charity. The roles have provided me great exposure to the banking industry and insight into all phases of the project lifecycle. Personal development at Tripple has provided me the opportunity to complete the PRINCE 2 course and study for the CIMA qualification. All of the above comes with the support from colleagues and Robert himself, giving regular coaching sessions which are truly invaluable and probably not too common for a graduate in a large company.
When I joined Tripple Consulting in 2013 as a graduate, I immediately gained hands-on experience as a Business Analyst by producing Business Operating Models for a major corporate bank as part of the SEPA scheme. Since then, I have been involved in the creation of a new bank through the development of Target Operating Models and process maps. The small nature of Tripple Consulting means that there is a strong sense of camaraderie and I have been given excellent support to reach my full potential.
I joined Tripple in late 2015 and instantly became part of a new project for a major Scottish CDFI. This was an important experience in understanding how a financial institution functions and a great opportunity to cultivate knowledge and expertise on ways to improve internal processes. In Tripple, there is always support from all members of the team and you are given responsibility for different functions within the company. Therefore you have the opportunity to be continuously learning and making a contribution to both Tripple and the projects you work on.
I specialise in ‘technology enabled change’; helping clients obtain greater value from their investments in technology. It’s people and not technology that deliver change and my 25 years in management, including time as a leadership development facilitator gives me the experience and passion for helping people and organisations achieve their potential. I have worked for 15 years in local government,I am a qualified project manager, chartered engineer and chartered IT professional. Recent projects include leading a business transformation project for a top South African law firm, electronic document management implementations and systems integrations for financial services businesses.
As the latest recruit at Tripple, I have worked on a few FinTech projects that have a very different feel to projects in larger banks. Tripple has given me the opportunity to learn more about the finance industry and management practices. With the help of Tripple, I have completed my PRINCE2 and started my CIMA professional qualification. In addition to my work as a management consultant, I have learned a lot in marketing and CSR, two functions that I am responsible for at the company.
